Belthangady, Jun 13: Anugraha Educational Institutions Ujire, celebrated it’s Patron’s Day on June 13. It was a day to honour the Patron Saint, St Antony of Padua. Thanksgiving mass was held in the church.
Fr Joel Lopes was the main celebrant. Fr Joel Lopes in his homily said that student must try to attain the holiness of life and become useful and good to others.
After the Mass, all students gathered in the auditorium. Principal Fr Vijay Lobo welcomed the gathering and new management committee members in his address, the correspondent Fr James D’Souza spoke on the importance of the day.
There was a cultural programme staged by the students. Hezel Pinto of X Std compered the programme.
