Mangaluru, Jun 12: An orientation programme for the parents of high school passouts was organised at Ladyhill Victoria Composite PU College on Monday, June 12 in three different sessions.
The gathering was welcomed by Tr Elizabeth. Principal Sr. Ujwala AC briefed the parents and students about the school, its functioning and rules and regulations to which students have to adhere to. She also introduced the coordinators in charge of various councils.
The guest speaker of the day Karthik S Kateel along with his mother Shobhalatha Suresh spoke on the topic “Impact of excessive use of social media on the students and the pivotal role to be played by the parents.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Tr Angela, parents were thanked for placing their trust in this institution and for showing keen interest through active participation in the orientation. Tr Bhavyashree compered the programme.
