Mangaluru: Guest lecture on 'Role of Youth in Nation Building' held at Srinivas University

Mangaluru, Jun 12: Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University organized a guest lecture on 'Role of Youth in Nation Building' on June 8. The event aimed to empower and motivate the youth to contribute to the development and progress of their nation actively.

The speaker of the guest lecture was Swami Vimokshanandiji Maharaj, president, of Ramakrishna Mission, Singapore. Bellala Gopinath Rao, a former serviceman, the Indian Army graced the occasion as the invited guest.


The session commenced with prayer by Abhishek Kini, a student from I year BBA (Aviation Management), Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean Institute of Aviation Studies welcomed the gathering. The dignitaries and the student representatives lighted the lamp.

With a wealth of knowledge and expertise, Swami Vimokshanandiji Maharaj shed light on various aspects related to nation-building, emphasizing the power of the youth in shaping the future. Drawing from personal experiences and extensive research, the speaker passionately conveyed the importance of youth engagement, innovation, and social responsibility in driving positive change.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks from prof Chaitra, faculty Institute of Aviation Studies. Prof Deekshitha, faculty Institute of Aviation Studies compered the programme.
