Udupi: KMC signs collaboration with American Prestigious Hospital Massachusetts General Hospital

Udupi, Jun 10: American Prestigious Hospital Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School had signed a collaboration with Dept of Gastroenterology, Kasturba Medical College, and Hospital Manipal.

This Gastrointestinal Endoscopy unit of Kasturba Medical College and Hospital is endorsed by MGH / Boston for training International physicians coming to India. It is a prestigious moment where we can have an exchange of students and faculty between KMC and Harvard Medical School, Boston.

 

The certificate of endorsement was handed over jointly by Lt Gen (Dr) M D Venkatesh, vice chancellor and Dr Sharath Kumar Rao, pro vice-chancellor, MAHE, Manipal to Dr Shiran Shetty, professor and head, Dr Ganesh Pai, professor and unit head, Dr Ganesh Bhat, professor and unit head Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Dr Anand Venugopal, chief operating officer, teaching hospital, MAHE Manipal, Dr Avinash Shetty, medical superintendent, Kasturab Hospital, Manipal, Dr Karunakar A Kotegar, director - international collaborations, Dr Sindhura Lakshmi and Sachin Karanth, deputy director, PR, Media and communication were present.
