Udupi, June 8: Udupi MLA Yashpal Suvarna visited the Santhekatte overpass construction site, which is getting delayed due to a huge rock that has interrupted the work. He also visited Uppur Kolalagiri Cross, Brahmavara Taluk office junction and Balipade-Kuthpady road on Thursday, June 8.
He instructed the officials of National Highway Authority of India and the construction company to take immediate and proper measures ahead of the commencement of the monsoon. He informed them to take measures for flow of uninterrupted traffic and look into the safety aspect of the people.
City municipality members, Manjula Nayak, Jayanthi, Balakrishna Shetty, grama panchayat president Krishna Devadiga, grama panchayat members, Sathish Naik, Navin Kanchan, Umesh Badanidiyoor, leaders Baikadi Suprasad Shetty, Umesh Shetty, Nishan Rai, Jaya Balaipade, Sunil Uppoor, and others were present.
