M'luru: Feast of Holy Trinity, fifth day of Tredicina devotion to St Anthony held in Milagres Shrine

Mangaluru, Jun 4: On the Solemnity of the Holy Trinity, the fifth day of Tredicina devotion preceding the annual feast of St Anthony of Padua was held on June 4 at St Anthony Shrine, Milagres Church.

Fr Rohan Michael Dias, assistant administrator, Father Muller Medical College and Hospital celebrated the Eucharistic and prayed for the youth along with Fr J B Crasta, director, and Fr Avinash Pais, assistant director of St Anthony Ashram, Jeppu.

Fr Rohan preached on the theme, 'Life in Holy Trinity is the sign of perfect Love and Unity'. He said that the nature of God is love, mercy, patience, faithfulness and forgiveness. God who is full of love and compassion invites all the faithful to become aware of His nature, to believe in Him and to imitate Him by living a life worthy of the Trinity, he said. 

Fr Rohan gave a call to build families bonded in love and unity after the model of Holy Trinity.

At the end of the Mass, Fr Avinash Pais led the novena in honour of St Anthony, during which the special intercession of the session was sought for the various needs and prayer intentions of the devotees.

Resident students of St Anthony Ashram sang and joined in the thanksgiving. Payasam (sweet dish) was served to all the devotees who attended the devotion.
