Mangaluru, Jun 2: Suhan Alva, who was nominated as the new district NSUI president assumed charge on June 1 in the presence of Congress district president Harish Kumar.

Suhan Alva has served as NSUI state chief secretary in many districts including Tumakuru and Uttara Kannada.

He is working towards strengthening the student force in the district through NSUI.
