Media Release

Mangaluru, Jun 1: The school reopening ceremony for the academic year 2023-24 took place on May 31 with great enthusiasm and excitement. The Ladyhill school management and staff made special efforts to welcome the students and create an inspiring atmosphere. The event was graced by the presence of the joint secretary of Ladyhill Institutions, Sr Violette Tauro A C, along with the headmistress, Sr Jennifer Moras A C, and assistant headmistress, Sr Ivy Moras A C. The programme aimed to motivate the students and set the tone for a productive and successful year ahead.

The school premises were beautifully decked up to welcome the students. Various banners and posters were displayed with inspiring captions such as 'Dream Big', 'Never Stop Learning', and 'Believe in Yourself'. The central thought of the decorations was 'Let's Bloom in Our Garden of Learning', emphasising the growth and development that can be achieved through education.

To mark the occasion, the joint secretary and the school administrators were accorded a hearty welcome by offering saplings as a symbol of growth and new beginnings. This gesture represented the school's commitment to nurturing and fostering the students' intellectual and personal development.

Following the welcoming ceremony, the students conducted a prayer service to seek blessings for the new academic year. The lighting of diyas added a spiritual touch to the proceedings, creating an atmosphere of tranquillity and positivity.

After the prayer service, the administrators addressed the students, encouraging them to seize the various opportunities available to them and strive for excellence in all their endeavours. They emphasised the importance of hard work, determination, and making the most of the resources provided by the school. The administrators urged the students to embody the school motto, "Through Effort to Glory," and reminded them of the potential they possess to achieve greatness.

The entire programme was meticulously compered by Rosely, who ensured the smooth flow of the event. The ceremony concluded with the senior students singing the school anthem, instilling a sense of unity, pride, and belonging among all present.

With the distribution of sweets to the students and an auspicious start, the students are expected to have a successful and rewarding academic year 2023-2024.
