Bantwal: Homage paid to departed RSS leader Kodman Kantappa Shetty

Bantwal, May 27: A programme of homage was held at Geetanjali auditorium, B C Road for recently departed RSS Puttur district convener, social, religious and cooperative leader Kodman Kantappa Shetty.

RSS leader Dr Prabhaker Bhat said that Kantappa Shetty had a smiling face, dignified personality, bold talk and actions. “His ideals and simplicity are an inspiration for the young generation,” he said.

Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik, Vidhan Parishat member Pratap Simha Nayak, former MLA Rukmaya Poojary, Padmanabha Kothary, HJV leader Radhakrishna Adyantaya and BJP leader Sulochana G K Bhat recalled the companionship of Kantappa Shetty.

Subrahmanya Bhat Kedila paid homage.

Bantwal taluk Sangha convener Dr Balakrishna, Belthangady taluk co convener Ganesh, Kadaba taluk Sangha convener Diwaker, Sullia taluk Sanga convener Pradyamna, Pranta Saha Seva Pramukh Seetaram Sullia, Sunil Achar, Anantakrishna, Vivekananda Alva Kodman, Vinod Puttur, Navin Prasad, Santhosh Kapinadka and Sudeesh were present.

Prasad P conducted the programme. Sadshiva Acharya sang an individual poem.
