Mangaluru: Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences graduation day held at Mukka Campus

Mangaluru, May 22: Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences graduation day was held at Srinivas University Mukka Campus on May 20.

Hon’ble pro-chancellor of Srinivas University and vice president of A Shama Rao Foundation Dr A Srinivas Rao presided over the graduation day ceremony. In his presidential remark, he advised students to 'Service with Smile'. "In this competitive world to become successful hard work is a necessity. If government make it compulsory to have dental service in all hospitals, then there will be more job opportunity for a dentist," he said. 

Member of Dental Council of India, Member of Karnataka State Dental Council, and member of senate Dr Shiva Sharan Shetty was the guest of honour. While addressing the gathering he congratulated all the students and parents. He suggested to students, "There is a lot of competition, to get to the next level it matters how you serve your patient by treating them better. Looking at your patient’s needs and make comfortable will lead to trust and success in your career.," he said.

Srinivas University, board of governors, trustee members A Vijayalakshmi R Rao, Prof A Mitra S Rao congratulated the students. Srinivas University registrar Dr Anil Kumar, Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre's dean Dr Uday Kumar, medical superintendent Dr David. DM Rosario and deans and principals of the Srinivas Group of Institutions were present.

Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences dean Prof Dr K Reshma Pai welcomes the gathering. The head of the department of periodontology Prof Dr Chandini Shree Kumar delivered the vote of thanks.
