Mangaluru, Apr 21: St Aloysius College emerged champion and runner up at Takshak HR fest as part of the two day national level conference on the theme 'HR Transformation – The Future is now' organized by School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya in association with National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) Mangaluru chapter and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and its valedictory ceremony was held at School of Social work Roshini Nilaya on Friday, April 21.
Speaking on the occasion, head human resources, BASF India limited Mangaluru and secretary NIPM Mangaluru chapter Santhosh Pai said, "The right topic has been chosen in the two day conference at the right time. The two days report itself shows the progress in which majority of important things has been covered. There is a big transformation happened and is happening as change is a must. HR is considered as business partner so its hard to survive in business organization as its keep on fluctuating."
Professor Evelyn Bennis said, "In the last two days lot of deliberation, preparation, idea, energy, material resources, non material resources, human resources have pulled in which gave meaning and fruit. We are fortunate that we passed through tough phase of covid and back here organizing such events and its worth investing where hardwork has come together in this two days event. We learn lot of things outside the class so make best use of the opportunity you get."
HR fest began Takshak with ten different teams from different colleges taking part in the event with various rounds such as stress interview and many more.
Student Josephina and Pearl Carolyn Louis presented the report of two day conference.
Faculty Agneline Ebinazar, Jisna Joseph, student convener Devika, secretary HR forum Jyotsna and others were present.
Rafath Hassan welcomed the gathering, Faculty coordinator Dr Sebestian KV proposed vote of thanks and Shraddha compered the event.
