Mangaluru, Apr 17: Mangala Arts Club had organized Bishu celebration at Mangala Magnus, Neermarga.

The Ugadi celebration was hosted by Panchami, II BSc OT&AT (vice president). It commenced with the traditional inauguration ceremony.

The honourable guest of the day was Prof Pratijna Suhasini, dean & principal, Mangala College of Allied Health Sciences & Paramedical Sciences. Other esteemed guests for the day were Prof Geethalakshmi, vice-principal, Dr Dharmaraj, admission officer, Ramesh Nayak, manager, Mangala Group of Educational Institutions and Akshatha Alva, coordinator, Mangala Arts Club.

Student members of Mangala Arts Club showcased their artistic skills adding colour to the events. The chief guest in her address emphasised on the importance of celebrating our cultural festivals and the science behind it. Several traditional games and activities were conducted for the students of arts club. Refreshments were provided for all the attendees.
