Mangalore: ABVP Protests UPA's Action Against Baba Ramdev

Mangalore, Jun 9: The local unit of ABVP held a protest near Bunts Hostel Circle on Wednesday June 8 to condemn the government’s action against Baba Ramdev and his supporters who were on anti-corruption crusade also demanding action on black money.

Mahesh, the secretary questioned the congress's delay on bringing back the black money invested in Swiss bank, announcing it as belonging to national treasury. He also informed that the UPA government are of the opinion that Ramdev is fighting for a good cause, yet government's
approach to counter the movement has been inappropriate, he resented. Further, he also condemned Kapil Sibal defending the government's said move.

The members of ABVP, Mangalore burnt the effigy of corrupt ministers of the UPA government and shouted slogans against them.

B Harsha also addressed the gathering.

Members Vinay, Sujith, Vishalakshi, Arun, Jagadish, Yathish and Shravan led the protest. Students from various colleges also took part in the protest.
