Mangalore: Tipper Hits Motor Bike – Pillion Rider Dies

Mangalore, May 24: Suhail (17), who was travelling on the pillion of a motor bike, died after a tipper hit his two-wheeler at Bykampady Industrial Area here on Monday May 23. Mohammed Ali, who was driving the motor bike, suffered injuries.

It is learnt that both of them were working for S L Industries in Bykampady. They were proceeding to Panambur in the motor bike, when a truck carrying bitumen hit them. Immediately after Suhail fell to the road, the rear wheels of the tipper crushed him.

As Ali was thrown some distance away in the incident, he escaped with some injuries. He is being treated in a hospital here.

The policemen of Pabambur station have registered a case. Investigation is on.
