Mangaluru, Dec 14: The Mangaluru division of the Lokayukta police raided the Karnataka Pollution Control Board office premises in Baikampady.

The raids were conducted after they had received complaints from the public that officials were accepting bribes for issuing licences and permits and following lapses in matters pertaining to pollution control measures and examinations.

It is learnt that the Lokayukta police will continue the raids and examine the files and records in the Pollution Control Board office on Wednesday.

    Raid Sub registrar Office, MESCOM etc. Ask the name of the person with people who visited recently...... I can give few names. They have appointed application typing agents where on their behalf hafta is collected................ Any ways we are under 40% commission BJP goberment......!!!

    Unfortunately in all such departments like pullution control , factory licence , RTO , etc all top executives are non locals. They are least bothered about the well being of local population and development of our region. They know people of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi are non aggressive and shell out any amount of money even when all requirements are in place , just to avoid multiple visits to the concerned office. This is very bad trend.

    ONE of the worst corrupt entities in the world. Cah n kind both would do for the officials. Raw Fish and Cashews in Kilos are also demanded by the corrupt officials apart from cash. Forget clearing the environment, by their attitude and behaviour they vitiate it further. Whole board should be suspended.

    MUDA is birth place of corruption. KSPCB father. The other day a receptionist / clerk accepting bribe at MUDA in cash went viral. What happened? Nothing. It is routine. Any Government no difference. All have share. All do gimmicks. Grand old party... most corrupt. Current ruling party has learnt from Master. Now during elections they want Modiji to come and wash their sins !! AAP is step son of Congress. Kick out all useless and corrupt in one go Folks !
