Puttur, May 21: Vishwa Hindu Parishat international president, Ashok Singhal, will be arriving here on Saturday May 21. He is scheduled to participate in a function being organized to dedicate the newly built Hanuman Theme Park at Eshwaramangala in the taluk to the world on Sunday May 22. This theme park has been created by Dharmashree Foundation.
On the occasion, Singhal will be conferred the title, ‘Dharmashree’.
After arriving at Mangalore by air, Singhal will stay at Konetota House in Eshwaramangala. State Chief Minister, B S Yeddyurappa, Sri Raghaveshwara Swamiji of Ramachandrapur Mutt, and a number of other leaders and dignitaries are expected to participate in the above function.
This theme park boasts of various things connected with Lord Hanuman, including a temple of Panchamukhi Anjaneya, with an 11 feet-long idol, claimed to be the tallest in that category in the country. The park has been built at an estimated cost of two crore rupees in a picturesque landscape amidst natural surroundings.
