Bangalore: Four Arrested as Police Busts Prostitution Racket


Bangalore, May 20 (PTI): Four persons, including three women, were arrested as police busted a prostitution racket at Basaveshwarnagar in the district here.

Acting on a tip off, the City Crime Branch sleuths raided a house last night where a prostitution racket was allegedly being run on the pretext of running an old age home and arrested three women and a male customer there, a CCB statement said.

In a similar case, the team nabbed five persons and rescued 30 women including some minor girls belonging to different states from a paying guest accomodation in R T nagar late last night, the statement said.

    dont the police have any better job to do? by cracking on prostitution police only help increase rape incidents in the city. it is time to think on this.
