Udupi, Dec 4: Rotary Club Parkala Isiri, Manipal, Kallianpur and Udupi of Rotary District 3182, Zone 3 and 4 members welcomed the women's rally consisting of nearly 100 members as apart if the awareness drive by nearly 30 Rotary Clubs of Pune.

The awareness drive topics were women empowerment, organ donation, no to drugs, no to plastic and others. The women's rally will cover nearly 2100 Km via seven districts to create awareness about the issues. In the rally, more of women participants are taking part along with the Rotary District governors, past district governors, presidents of various Rotary clubs.

On the occasion, Dr Anil Premar, past district Rotary governor, Deepak Purohit, former Rotary governor, Rajaram Bhat, former Rotary district governor, Dr Bharatesh, Rashmi Kulkarni, past district governor, Guru Prasad Kamath, secretary, Rotary Parkala Isiri, Charlet Lewis, president, Rotary Club, Kallianpur, Gururaj Bhat, secretary, Rotary Club, Udupi, Prasanth Hegde, district secretary were present.

Ramchandra Uppadaya, assistant governor welcomed the gathering, Renu Jayaram, president, Rotary Club, Manipal proposed a vote of thanks, Amit Aravind, district secretary, compered the programme.
