New Delhi, May 17 (PTI) In a bid to strengthen the existing system, the Basketball Federation of India (BFI) today appointed Kenny Natt as the head coach of the men's national team, while Pete Gaudet will shoulder the responsibility of women's team.
Natt, who has got 13 years coaching experience in the National Basketball Association, will replace Bill Harris while Gaudet, a veteran with more than four decades of international exposure will succeed Tamika Raymond.
Apart form the two, BFI has also appointed Zak Penwell as the strength and conditioning coach.
Penwell will be responsible for developing and implementing specialised nutritional, strength training and conditioning programs for national men's and women's teams.
Natt has worked with Utah Jazz, Cleveland Cavaliers and Sacramento Kings.
