Mangaluru, Nov 11: Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India in association with Srinivas University Mangaluru conducted a Workshop on 'Social Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, and Rural Engagement' at Srinivas University City Campus on November 10.

Professor Chethan Chittalkar, director, MGNCRE, ministry of Education, Government of India was consulted to be a resource person. Dr Laveena Dmello, dean, Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, Srinivas University presided over the programme.

The vote of thanks was offered by Dr Pradeep M D, associate professor of the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, Presentation was hosted by Dr Vidya N associate professor of the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities. Professor Joyson Prenky Cardoza, professor Sushmitha, and professor Shreeraj S Acharya, were present at the workshop. About 45 Faculties from Srinivas University and other institutions have actively participated in the workshop and shared their experience.
