SAC organises Mangalore University Intercollegiate Swimming Competition for men, women

Mangaluru, Nov 10: St Aloysius College organised Mangalore University, Intercollegiate Swimming Competition at St Aloysius Swimming Pool on November 9. Dr Ashuthosh R Boloor, Consultant Ophthalmologist SDM Eye Hospital was the chief guest for the inaugural function.

23 Colleges affiliated to Mangalore University participated in this competition. Valedictory programme was held on the same day. Dr Alwyn D’Sa registrar St Aloysius College was the chief guest for the programme. Dr Praveen Martis SJ presided over the programme.

S R Rachana Rao Canara College, Mangaluru secured Individual Championship in the Women Section with 88 points.
Roysten Rodrigues Alva’s College Moodabidri secured Individual Championship in the Men Section with 56 points.

Over all Winners in the Women section:
Overall Champions: St Aloysius College, Mangaluru (121 Points)
Overall Runner Up: Canara College, Mangaluru (105 Points)
Overall third Place: Besant Women’s College, Mangaluru (23 points)
Overall fourth Place: PPC, Udupi (8 Points)
Over all Winners in the Men section:
Overall Champions: St Aloysius College, Mangaluru (108 points)
Overall Runner Up: SDMCBM, Mangaluru (82 points)
Overall third Place: St Philomena College, Puttur (72 points)
Overall fourth Place: Alva’s College, Moodabidri (56 points)
