Brahmavar, Nov 4: GM Vidyaniketan Public School, which gives equal importance to extracurricular activities, had a very successful kids sports on November 4. The students from pre-nursery to class II participated in the sports event with great interest and enjoyed the sport in the beautifully decorated GM interior.
Adarsh Acharya, a proud former student of GM Vidyaniketan Public School, currently working in Infosys, was the chief guest at the kids sports. He inaugurated the sports event. On the occasion He said L, "Extra-curricular activities are very important to improve physical fitness, good health and learning quality among children, and in this regard, GM organization is very active in such activities. This institution made me a good sportsman, gave me a good education and shaped me into a good personality.” He said that he is very happy and proud to be a guest at the sports event.
Brahmachari KN, principal speaking on the occasion said, “Physical education is a part of learning. Children can do better in learning by being involved in sports. So everyday children should engage themselves in games at least for some time.”
Prakashchandra Shetty, president of the school board, wished good luck to the young sports kids and said, "Various extra-curricular activities are continuously being organized for the all-round development of children. Children get mature mentally and physically through sports. This will make their life brighter. So parents should encourage their children to participate in all school activities.”
All the students participated in the sports event with great joy. A large number of parents participated in the function. Fun competitions were also organized for them. Prizes were distributed to the winning junior athletes. Tara Prakashchandra Shetty, member of school management board, Pranav Shetty, principal of GM Global School, N S Adiga, school founding principal, Prashant Kumar, councilor, parents and teachers were present.
