Mangaluru, Oct 1: Hindu Janajagruti Samithi has announced plans to organise 'Hindu Rastra Sankalpa Abhiyaan' from October 31 to November 8.
"As part of the campaign an oath will be taken on the formation of a Hindu Rashtra over 2000 places across the nation," said Ramesh Shinde, national spokesperson of the Hindu Janajagruti Samithi.
He was addressing a press meet here on Saturday October 1.
“Our country is known to be secular, yet a parallel religion-based ‘Islamic Economy’ is being set up through halal certification. This halal certification is not only for food. But, it is given for other products too. Through this halal economy, India is facing an economic crisis. Though halal certification is not necessary, businessmen are obtaining halal certification by paying a hefty amount,” he alleged.
“The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) should provide this certification. Why it should be taken from Muslim organizations?” he questioned.
Hence, the government should ban this halal certification, he demanded.
Dinesh Kumar Jain and Guruprasad Gowda were present on the occasion.
