Mangalore: Congress Cleansing Itself – BJP Continues to Stink – Poojary

Daijiworld Media – Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, Apr 27: Former union minister, B Janardhan Poojary, welcomed the moves of arresting ousted chairman of Commonwealth Games Organizing Committee, Suresh Kalmadi, his suspension from the Congress, and the service of summons to Kanimozhi, DMK MP, relating to the 2G spectrum allocation scam. He was addressing a press conference in the city on Tuesday April 26.

“What steps has the BJP high command taken against Karnataka Chief Minister, B S Yeddyurappa, who is neck-deep in corruption, although his involvement with scams is backed by documentary proof? BJP’s house continues to stink. The house of Congress is getting cleansed. Congress never remained mum about tainted people’s representatives,” he claimed.

He also took BJP Mahila Morcha, Yuva Morcha etc of following dual policies. “On one hand, they hold protests and agitations against those in the UPA government, accusing them of getting involved with corruption. On the other hand, they have turned a blind eye about the CM’s corruption,” he said. He also felt that national president of the BJP, Nitin Gadkari, has proved himself to be an incompetent person for the post, by not taking action against the corrupt Chief Minister.

He announced that personally, he backs the agitation undertaken by Kerala Chief Minister, V S Achutanandan, demanding for banning the insecticide, endosulfan.

Congres leaders, Harikrishna Bantwal, Kallige Taranath Shetty, and Navin D’Souza, were present at the press conference.
