Mangalore: Fake Passport – Man Detained

Mangalore, Apr 27: A person, who was trying to fly to Dubai from the international airport here by using the passport of a relative, was detained by the immigration officials on Tuesday April 26. He was later handed over to Bajpe police station.

He has been identified as Abdulla (38), a resident of Vittal Meginapete, conducting petty business there. He was trying to take a flight to Dubai by using the passport of Abdulla Ashraf, elder brother of his wife. During checking, the immigration officials grew suspicious, and upon close scrutiny, found out about the mischief.

Bajpe policemen have taken up investigation.
