Davanagere: Sai Baba Devotee Attempts Suicide, Hospitalised

Davanagere, Apr 26, (PTI): A devotee of Sathya Sai Baba tried to commit suicide by slitting his throat with a blade, after coming to know about the godman’s death, at the house of his aunt at Andanur in Holalkere taluk of Chitradurga district on Monday night.

Gangadharappa, hailing from Kabbala in Hosadurga taluk in Chitradurga district, was sitting alone in front of a portrait of Baba in the room and suddenly slit his throat.

Devotees should not take such extreme steps because Baba does not like sufferings of common man and his entire life was meant for the welfare of people.
Devotees should understand that though Baba is not to be seen in physical form but continues to bless us.Puttaparthi will be known another Shirdi in the coming days.Om Sai Ram.
