Paltady Ramakrishna Achar was speaking after inaugurating the ‘Tulu Yakshagana Week’ organized at Sitaram Mandir, Mavinakatte, in Nalkoor village, under the aegis of Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy,
Karnataka Yakshagana Academy, and Bharatiya Kala Sangh, Sarapady, from Monday April 25 to Sunday May 1.
Tulu Sahitya Academy member Bhaskar Rai Kukkuvalli was the chief guest on the occasion.
Sarapady gram panchayat president Vanita Vishwanath Gowda presided over the programme.
TP member Sampat Kumar Shetty, and gram panchayat vice-president Poovappa Poojary Kadamaje were present on the dais.
Tulu Sahitya Academy member and Bharatiya Kala Sangh president Sarapady Ashok Shetty welcomed the gathering. Journalist Ratnadev Punjalkatte proposed the vote of thanks. Radhakarishna Rai Kottunja compered the programme.
