New Delhi, Apr 25 (PTI) India's 'Little Mermaid' Swapnali Yadav is all set to make a splash at the inaugural Kimberley National Lake Argyle Swim to be held in Australia on April 30.
The 11-year-old lass from Mumbai will feature in the 20km open swim as a special invitee.
Trained by Raju Palkar, the only long distance national coach recognised by the Swimming Federation of India (SFI), Swapnali will hit the waters of Western Australia's 80km lake Kununura, which is reported to be a habitat of about 35,000 crocodiles.
The young swimmer doesn't seem to be affected by the harsh conditions and is looking forward to make the occasion count.
"I am confident of doing well and completing the race," said Swapnali.
"I'm sure the organisers have taken all precautions to protect us from the crocodiles.
