Mangalore: St Christopher Education Holds Easter Celebration

Mangalore, April 23: St Christopher Education held celebrated Easter celebrations at Cheshire Home, Kankanady on Saturday April 23.

Fr Stanly Goveas, Director of St Christopher Education said that if there is one day of the year that is holiest to Christians, it is Easter Sunday. Easter Sunday marks the day Jesus returned from the dead for many.

Speaking on the occasion, MG Hegde, Janata Dal (S) state general secretary criticized the recent attack on orphanages by Hindu activists. He said ‘Hindu activists are very interested in construction and renovation o f temples, marriage hall, schools and colleges. But they are not ready to set up orphanages for weaker section of the society.

MLA UT Khader, Sushil Naronha, the president of Cheshire Home , Victor, Sr Amala Reddy, superior of Cheshire were present.
