Udupi, Apr 23: Balaji Raghavendra Acharya, district organizer of Patanjali Yoga Peetha, said that renowned Yoga exponent and spiritual teacher, Baba Ramdev, along with thousands of his supporters, will begin indefinite fast on June 4.

He said that the demand, backing which Baba Ramdev has planned this fast, is to bring back the black money politicians have stashed away in foreign banks. “Baba Ramdev has been demanding for bringing back over Rs 400 lac crore rupees that represents illegally earned money belonging to Indians, which has been kept in foreign banks. Udupi plays an important role in Baba’s scheme of things, as he had announced that on the lines of Haridwar, which is the Yoga Peetha’s centre in north India, Udupi will become its centre in south India. After he left from here, he has announced the plan to undertake fast, he said.

His supporters from Karnataka coast will also join this indefinite fast programme,” Acharya added.
