Aldel Education Trust, a registered body, under the Chairmanship of Albert W. D’Souza, the Managing Director of Mumbai based Printania Offset Pvt. Ltd., is all set to start
1. St. John College of Engineering and Technology (SJCET) and
2. St. John Institute of Pharmacy and Research (SJIPR) in a tranquil and lush green environment at Vevoor, Manor Road, Palghar, Thane Dist., Maharashtra from this academic year.
The sprawling college campus is less than one kilometer away from Palghar Railway Station. The National Highway 8 crosses the Nashik – Palghar state highway in the vicinity. Palghar is 80 Km north of Borivli (Mumbai), 40 Km north of Vasai and 140 Km south of Surat.

Albert W. D’Souza, a leading Mangalorean entrepreneur of Mumbai for nearly 3 decades has made valuable contributions to the community in particular and society at large in the fields of higher and professional education, banking, health care, social service etc. He has played a pivotal role in starting 5 Engineering and 3 Management Colleges of the Catholic community in Mumbai and Mangalore. Though the Catholic community has ventured in starting Engineering Colleges, the new Pharmacy College, which has a vast scope in the present scenario with so much of awareness regarding health care and fitness among the general public, is the first one by the Catholic community in Maharashtra and Karnataka.








Both the Colleges are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India, recognized by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to the University of Mumbai.
SJCET offers 4 year degree courses in
1. Civil Engineering
2. Computer Engineering
3. Information Technology and 4.
Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and SJIPR offers 4 year degree course in Pharmacy.
D’Souza, who has vast experience in the higher and professional education arena is all set to give the best and state of art facilities. Accordingly, buildings and infrastructure like laboratories, library, play grounds are ready for the current academic year. Separate accommodation for boys and girls is available.

The eligibility to enroll for the first semester of B.E. in SJCET is a pass in H.S.C. or its equivalent examination with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics having secured minimum 50% marks and should have secured a non – zero score in MHT – CET 2008 or should have secured a valid AIEEE score.
A pass in H.S.C. or its equivalent examination with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics having secured minimum 50% marks is required to enroll for the first semester of B. Pharm. in SJIPR and should have secured a non – zero score in MHT – CET 2008.
Candidates seeking admission under the Christian Religious Minority / Management quota may obtain the Prospectus – cum – Application forms from the College / Trust office between 10.00 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. on all working days on payment of non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500/-.
