Be A Help Anyway

Be A Help Anyway
Learn to help one another at home,
As home is the first and best place,
One gets to know a lesson for life time.
Be a help anyway, as you don't know,
What goes around comes around.

As you return back home from work,
Though tired and weary,
Learn to give a smile to your loved ones,
Give a ear to their restless day,
they have surely missed you.
Be a help anyway, as you don't know
What goes around comes around.

When someone ask, “Help me find a job",
Do you say, “I will try my best”,
But just keep the CV in your inbox? or
Do you say, “it is difficult to find you a job”?
Be a help anyway, as you don't know,
what goes around comes around.
.
When someone hurts you, and
You want to turn away,
Just be patient and silent,
Your silence will melt even the hardest metal.
Be a help anyway, as you don't know,
What goes around comes around.

Don't show your power,
To those in rank below you,
Learn to respect everyone.
As just like you, he or she is a child of God.
Be a help anyway, as you don't know,
What goes around comes around.

If you are blessed with sumptuous food on your table,
Remember to eat it with grace,
sharing the meal with someone,
who is destined to sleep hungry that night.
Be a help anyway, as you don't know,
What goes around comes around.

At your job try to do your best in all the assignments,
Don't grumble or look nasty at the pile of work.
Remember those who have no job and are not earning,
How difficult it must be to make two ends meet for them.
Be a help anyway, as you don't know,
What goes around comes around.

If God has blessed you monetarily well,
Don't just sit over it doing the best for yourself,
Learn to spend on charity and for the down trodden,
Wiping a tear and bringing a smile on that saddened little face.
Be a help anyway, as you don't know,
What goes around comes around.

Take time off to meet the old, lonely and sick,
You never know it may be your last moment to do them good.
How they may be waiting for someone to listen and talk to them,
As they are battling life's trials all alone.
Be a help anyway, as you don't know,
What goes around comes around.

Last but not the least,
Help yourself to be fit as a fiddle, till the last,
Running your race in whatever, you have been blessed to do.
Be a help anyway, as you don't know,
What goes around comes around.

Very well written Susan. We need to remind ourselves we live in a real world with people who have needs and feelings. Empathy must be followed more than sympathy.. Thank you for the detailed write up.
