My Beloved Husband

My Beloved Husband
Never had I dreamt like this before,
Never had days been so profoundly great.
My arms never warmed as they do now,
You, the man who fills my heart completely.

In the midst of my gaze, I seek your eyes,
Guiding lights that pave my way forward.
I won't depart without holding your strong hands,
Nor sleep without your comforting embrace.
You, my light, my life,
How you've orchestrated my words into a mesmerizing rhythm.
Wishing time would linger longer,
For never have I dreamt like this.

I'm entwined in my devotion to you,
You cradle me as a babe, kiss me as a wife.
Your laughter, an infectious joy, draws me closer,
I'm falling into you, endlessly.

No one can replace you,
I stand by you, my husband.
This, my first letter to you,
Wrap me in your love, envelop my being.
Born for me, my Lilly flower,
Masculine embodiment of love and safety.
I open my eyes, longing for your dimple,
To always see you as my sun and moon."
