Bengaluru, Aug 9: Large and Medium Industries Minister Murugesh R Nirani on the third day of his visit to Japan met top honchos of Hitachi, Fujitsu, NEC Corporation in Tokyo and invited them to increase their investments in Karnataka.
Nirani accompanied by State’s Commissioner for Industries Gunjan Krishna, who led a delegation of officials from Karnataka, also invited the Japanese industry captains to participate in the State’s flagship Global Investors Meet scheduled to be held on November 2, 3 and 4 in Bengaluru.
The Fujitsu Limited was represented by Vivek Mahajan, Corporate Executive Officer; Ken Toyoda, Corporate Executive Officer (Research Management Centre) and Jungo Okai, chief of staff were present, while the Hitachi was represented by Kojin Nakakita, Vice President and Executive Officer Regional Strategies (APAC), Norihiro Suzuki, Vice President and Executive Officer and General Manager of Research and Development Group, Ayumu Morita, Corporate Officer and General Manager. The NEC Corp was represented by Toshiya Matsuki, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer,Dr Akihiko Iketani, General manger Digital Technology Development Laboratories and Kiichi Tamida, Global Public Policy Officer.
