Dubai, Apr 7: Maxtalent trained coaches put up a three-hour non-stop training session grind, managing cricket Station as game facilitator, in type 1UAE Olympics 2011 an event organized to highlight sports for diabetic related children, an under the programme of KAHDA, an initiative of HH Princess Haya programme. The event held at Safa Park (Dubai), had besides Cricket, 06 other stream of sporting activites such as Football, Rugby, Athletic, Badminton, Horse, Floor Ball (type of field hockey) and Chess training and fun game organized to involving approximately 250 local and expatriate children between the age of 7 years to 18 years old boys and girls, effected by diabetics.
The activity involved, each child to participate mandatorily in all the games organized for the event. The participant boys and girls, rotated from one different games station in turn, to either horn their skill and play a competitive game, they were guided by their school teachers, station guides and trainers at each station.
Venue of the game Safa park, beautifuly decorated was bubbling with life as the participating children had lovely fun time. Maxtalent as partners to KAHDA in the project of Vision Cricket Arabia, to be kick started in the second week of April 2011, was bestowed, with the responsibility of organizing cricket station. Maxtalent team trained coaches supported by 2 local school Arab teacher, introduced the game of cricket with simple drills and exciting quick & easy cricket games, to get first hand knowledge and fun aspect of it. For Sure and for many, India recent world cup success, was one not only the high point talk subject, but commanded extra interest in the games, particularly those amongst the teachers who had quite decent or atleast some knowledge of game cricket.
Team Maxtalent, popularly known for their regular main stream cricket event organizing and training, are also pioneers, in CSR activity, through the annual Children for special need programmes “Lets be little more human”. Partnering this cause, for the first time, was not only nostalgic but also a step towards, serving and providing hope to all the Diabetic effected children, with a message that, one can still have fun and enjoy life, irrespective of sick or disable circumstances.
Ahmad Abdul Rehman project manager for KAHDA distributed, medals to participants and conveyed his gratitude to organizers, specific mention of Maxtalent, highlighting the efforts for associating in the event and also for taking initative to promote the game amongst the local national, through the new partnership agreement recently concluded. Earlier, Director General Mr. Quadhi Murooshid of DHA, cut the event ribbon to declare the games open with welcome speech by KAHDA official, addressing the large gathering of participants, parents, well wishers, teachers and organizers from KAHDA, gathered in support for the cause.
