Bagalkot, Apr 6: Neela Nayaka (38), a teacher by procession, lost his life after jumping out from the first floor examination hall in Bilgi town in the district on Tuesday April 5.

Reportedly, Nayaka, a resident of Bagalkot, was trying to help the students writing SSLC examination in the hall located at Bilgi Siddeshwar high school. He was handing over chits containing answers for the mathematics examination, to a few of them.

As soon as the teacher went up to the first floor and started to help the students in the examination hall, a few, who were perhaps in a mischievous mood, shouted that the custodian was coming. Some others, it is said, shouted that the media persons were coming to take photographs.

Turning nervous  at this unexpected development, the teacher directly jumped out of the first floor and fell to the ground. Within seconds, he breathed his last.
