Moodbidri, Aug 2: Special poojas were held in 16 Basadis at Jain Kashi Moodbidri on August 2 due to Nagara Panchami celebrations under the guidance of Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Panditacharya seer who blessed the devotees.

 

Several rituals were held on the occasion. Large number of devotees took part and received prasada. Former minister K Abhayachandra Jain, Sanjayandha Kumar, Veerendra Vashabh Sampath, Nagendra Neranki, Parshwanath Jain, Moodbidri math manager Sanjayandha Kumar Shetty, Aditya Jain and others were present. Priest Veeraj Indra performed poojas and blessed the devotees.
