Mangalore, Mar 31: Naravi and nearby places got good rains on Wednesday March 30. Beltangady taluk was experiencing cloudy weather since afternoon, and in the evening, some places including Naravi received rains.
As the rains came accompanied by thunder and lightning, power supply was disrupted, resulting in utter disappointment for cricket fans clued to their television sets.
Almost the entire Sagar taluk in Shimoga district received rains on Wednesday evening. In most places, large number of hails accompanied by rains, was experienced. The people are afraid that hails will adversely affect the mango harvest this time.
