1.EPFO pension has not been revised for last 13 years
2.CPI is increasing and Essential commodities is now beyond the reach of EPFO pensioners.
3.Bank FD interest rate is coming down. In the year 1999 Banks used to offer Interest 11 to 12 %.now a days, this is is around 9%.An immediate revision of pension structure is essential.Mere declaring 3,4,5,6...relief will not bring desired result.
Bank should offer at least 2 % more interest to senior citizen and should be fixed at minimum 11%.
These steps will help senior citizen to live with self esteem.
