Karnataka reports 1,374 fresh Covid cases, 3 deaths reported in a single day

Bengaluru, Jul 16: Karnataka on Saturday, July 16, reported 1,374 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stands at 7,296. Bengaluru urban's single-day tally at 1,234.

Three deaths were reported due to coronavirus in the state on Saturday. The death toll in the state has risen to 40,088.

The state recorded 777 discharges from hospitals on Saturday, taking the total discharges to 39,37,950.

So far, Karnataka has seen 39,85,376 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
