Udupi, Mar 27 (TOI): The Voluntary Service Organization of Manipal University, consisting of students and faculty of all colleges of the varsity, will hold a free medical and dental camp for the residents of the hutments at Beedinagudde on Sunday.
A team of doctors, interns, and students of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal College of Dental Surgery and those posted at Udupi Government Hospital will assist in the camp. About 600 people living in over 100 huts in Beedinagudde will benefit from this camp.
Children will be taught oral hygiene and women will be told about personal hygiene. A general health check-up will also be given. Medicines for common ailments will be distributed after examination.
