Udupi: Hotelier Yelluruguttu Karunakar Shetty Passes Away

Udupi, Mar 25: Seventy-five-year-old Yelluruguttu Gundu Yane Karunakar Shetty, Mumbai hotelier and brother of Yellur Vishwanath temple managing trustee Y Praful Shetty, passed away here on Friday March 25.  He is survived by two sons and one daughter.

He was a hotelier in Mumbai for four decades.  He was a philanthropist who helped many families in his native Yellur village.  He was involved in the renovation of Yellur and Kunjoor temples.

    Shocked to hear about Gundu shetty passed away. he was so kind and helpful not only to the Yellur people but also to the nearby villagers. I pray God for Gundu Shetty soul to rest in peace.
