Dubai Police Foils Bid to Smuggle Arms to Yemen

Dubai, March 25 (IANS/WAM) Dubai Police have seized a huge consignment of arms destined for Yemen, it was announced Thursday.

The consignment included about 16,000 pistols. It arrived from Turkey and was on its way to Yemen.

Officials said the arms were shipped in a container to Dubai. The consignment is considered to be the largest of its kind discovered in the region.
