Udupi: St Mary’s College, Shirva Holds Workshop on Training Tech for Teachers

Udupi, Mar 24: The post graduate department of St Mary’s College, Shirva under the auspices of Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Centre, Pamboor, near here organized a workshop on Training technologies for teachers at Manasa School hall here, recently.

The retired head master Maurice Noronha was the chief guest.

Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Centre principal Sr Vinny and St Mary’s College faculty Laxmi felicitated Maurice Noronha during the programme.

Fr Simao Fernandes was the resource person.

St Mary’s College I M Sw students Surekha, Shilpa and Fr Joe were the chief organizers of the programme, which was attended by 19 teachers and 24 MSW students of St Mary’s College.

Fr Simao spoke on the legacy of mutual respect for teachers and students and 16 values for the necessary for teachers during the two sessions that he conducted.

The sessions were well-interspersed with video clippings, power-point presentations and group discussions.

The programme was focussed to empower the teachers with values, skills and morals that would help them to educate the children to be better citizen of India.
