Mangalore: Anganavadi Workers Take Out Procession Against New Pension Scheme

Mangalore, Mar 22: The members of Karnataka Anganvadi workers union, district committee demonstrated in front of zilla panchayat office here on Tuesday March 22.

 

The protest was held as an opposition to the new pension scheme and withdrawal of the earlier benefits. The scheme was not beneficial for workers as it was a market-linked scheme protestors said.

The women who came in procession to zilla panchayat office shouted slogans against the government for introducing the new scheme and demanded for a revised scheme.
