We as residents of a particular cross road in Shivabagh, do area related work collectively and after consultation. Many people have already contacted her. We all know the posts she holds. She visited the area a few times in the beginning, then stopped. All she used to say when told about the bad road and asked to get it repaired was "you come and see how my road is". There are times when we ourselves have shelled out money to fill the pot holes on our crossroad. The previous corporators were much better. Anyway, the authorities have promised to repair the roads. Hope it does take place.

I am resident of Shivbagh and i am for the people who took up such a genuine issue. Thank to all. Kind attention to all the commentors, it is not about the religion or political party or lady leader, what one should see is the issue that has been raised (the pathetic road).

Tnks for ur comment Victoria, but u seem to have misunderstood my comment (ESI)which was not addressed to you, but if u wish u r always welcome to get admitted to the ESI Hospital. Also pls read the commments carefully as u were talking of Catholics rather than the hospital on your previous comments. ....
Francisca, if u had clearly understood my comments u would not have replied, pls go thru them once more. secondly if I was an eye surgeon or a pediatrician my first appointments of the day would surely be for you free of cost and I would surely take u on a safari thru Shivabagh ward

Francisca, you still seem to have ur milk teeth. If you had opened your eyes wide enough you would have seen the sorry state of Shiva bagh ward roads..... you seem to have cataract in your eyes.
Her winning the ESTEEMED POSITION is bacause of Mr. Gilbert Pintos selfless work for her that she was able to win the elections and not because of some SAINTS that she is swearing by. Any way goodluck to you also Francicsa, and get ur eyes checked pls pls.

    Dear kevin preet,

I think it was ur misfortune that you may not have been able to get her on the line since everytime we have have called her she has answered each and every call of ours. I think you need to find out with your neighbourhood too how many times she has not picked up their calls or has she been good enough to answer them. There have been instances where when she has not picked the call she has got back to us the minute she could.

I think you need to be more considerate in life which will not only do good to others but to Yourself. Well, i don't think she needs publicity to pose for media as u have mentioned cause she is a well known figure much before she was our area corporator!!!!!!!. She has enough dignified posts to her credit and people who are genuine know it.. I think we are not here to judge each other... just ponder a while and think if what u have spoken has given you JOY, if so ... i must say you have a g8t conscience man!!!!!

I fully agree with Kevin Preeth's comments. Besides what he has said I wish to say that the pot holes on the Shivbagh roads are filled with mud which will be washed away with the first rain. In fact there is no tar road in Shivbagh. The road which was dug up for laying drainage pipe line two years back, was supposed to be repaired immediately, but still not done. Shivbagh residents are levied higher property taxes and supposed to be a posh area. But the present status of Shivbagh is pathetic. I only hope that the result of the protest is positive.

Dear Shivbagh Residents, A kind request if you can't do good to a person please do not do bad either... just try and get into our lady corporator's shoes and see if you can even walk forget running... She is one among the few selfless persons u can ever think of. Mam, do not worry about any false accusations against u, there are many well wishers who know how good u r but only the sad part is they r unable to speak up because of the few who are desperately trying their luck to pull you down...

You have won this ESTEEMED POSITION with a cause to do good, u have been doing good as much as u can and we know u will continue to do so inspite of the hardships that you are going through to get things done and really wish the so called cream of society residing in your shivbagh ward realize your potential. Just don't lose strength remember there is always a silver lining behind every dark cloud... Wish you all the best LADY...WE CARE FOR YOU...
@ronald, Dubai, @ lancy, @ victoria thanx for your support for our Esteemed Lady Corporator
@ vivian, @ruchir, @philip thanx to u too for misunderstaor... Have a Blessed Day... God Bless...

Lancy and Ronald, May be you have just passed thru Shivabagh only once or you, Ronald, Maybe visiting Mangalore once in 5 or 10 years that you say the corporator is working selflessly. If you were in your true senses you would not comment so foolishly. How much of Bethany road have you seen, please go a little further up to ESI hospital and you may feel like getting admitted in ESI.
Secondly,Hi victoria,,, do not bring religion into politics. Most of what you have written doesnt make any sense.

To the people that are thinking our lady corporator is the best, don't you think we have contacted her already and taken this step after that? We have called her several times, also brought the engineers to the location and shown them the state of the road. Initially she came and kept saying "you see how bad my road is." The engineer later assured to repair the road asap.

Nothing has happened since two months. Later she stopped answering calls. This has been going on from past one year. The corporators are given funds for the development and maintenance of their wards. Where is the money going? Why the roads are still in very bad condition. How much damage this causes to the cars and uneasiness to the walkers?

Auto's don't agree to come down these roads and people have to carry heavy bags sometimes and come walking. So before commenting, please come along these roads and see. We are doing this after being tired of telling our lady corporator to repair the road. Where her photo is will be visible in the media, there she will be there, for work. Else of no use.

When good people selflessly working, we have bad elements pulling them down, this is exactly what some people are doing in shivbagh, I have seen our corporator being a lady doing great work selflesly, instead of supporting her and strengthening her we have people posing for photographs for the media with a banner. dear shivbagh residents wake up, we have seen this lady working for our development, just check the bethany internal road, no corporator could do this, she has done, Children can pass by easily. yes everything dosent come easy, we need patience with the corporation.
Dear Mam, dont worry about this, keep on doing the good work. your one of the best corporator in Mangalore.

The Shivbagh roads have not been maintained since past 7 to 8 years and the users are left to suffer. Its unfit for a walking also.
About 6 months back few residents along the doctor residents along our corporator met the Commisionor who assured us of immediate steps. But to date not a sign of improvement is seen. The residents are regularly calling up our corporator who in turn is following up with the civic authority but all the corporators cries went into deaf ears !!
We also have a very active and since association ''Shivbagh residents welfare forum " which is doing garbage collection door to door and following up the residents woes regularly.

It is very shameful to see all catholic people who are protesting against their corporator, they are work and their pipelines,it is the same people who were not bothered to come out of their house and vote for their leader, and 99% of the work is done of shivbagh area itself, then why other area are sitting quite.because they know who is the ruler and how fast the work will be done,it is very sad that educated people are back of the leader who dont know to give respect,or take respect.tell him to do the work.lets see.
