Mangalore, Mar 15: In a suit filed by Sri Raghavendrateertha, erstwhile junior Swamiji of Kashmi Mutt, the district court in Ernakulam has passed an order, restraining him from shifting the paraphernalia and things mentioned by the commissioner appointed by Tirupati court, in his report. They include idols of various deities, various paraphernaliam, ornaments, and other belongings of Kashi Mutt Samsthan. These things are presently stored in the residence of Sri Raghavendrateertha at Dwaraka Kalamandir, Elamakkara, in Kerala.
Sri Raghavendrateertha had filed s suit against Sri Sudhindrateertha Swamiji, spiritual head and Guru of Sri Kashi Mutt Samsthan. The said court had transferred its order for execution, to Ernakulam district court.
Sri Raghavendrateertha allegedly has shirked from either obeying the court orders, or accepting the orders passed by the Supreme Court and Andhra Pradesh High Court, instructing him to return the things which actually belong to Sri Kashi Mutt Samsthan, and which are held by him in his possession.
Feeling annoyed by the above action of Sri Raghavendrateertha, the disciples of Sri Kashi Mutt gathered in front of the residence of Sri Raghavendrateertha at Elamakkara in large numbers, and held silent demonstration and protest.
G G Prabhu, power of attorney holder of Sri Sudhindrateertha Swamiji, senior advocate, R D Shenoy, advocate, R Laxminarayana Prabhu, P Rangadasa Prabhu, Ernakulam Thirumala Devaswom, R Ratnakara Shenoi, president, Sri Sudheendra Medical Mission, S Rajagopala Prabhu, president, Dr Padiar Homeopathic Medical College etc were present.
