Bantwal, Jun 11: “We are prepared to bring Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s bulldozer model against those who spoil communal harmony in Karnataka,” said BJP national chief secretary C T Ravi.
He was speaking after participating in ‘Nari Sammana Deshada Abhimana’ conference held by the BJP Mahila Morcha at Sparsha Mandira, B C Road on Saturday.
He said, “Some political parties which have lost elections are trying to create unrest in the country by means of propaganda. The Modi government at the Centre is capable of stopping it.
“The parties which have lost power have the craze of communalism, casteism and power. They have become slaves of the family of politicians. People need to defeat them again so that the craze may go away forever. The country should be kept secure by means of awareness. The projects of the Modi government which have made new records should be made to reach every person by women.
“Modi became responsible for the changes to our great country by putting an end to family politics. The respect to the country has grown internationally due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Is it justified for the opposition to give a communal colour to the BJP which has given hundreds of projects for the country?
“BJP, which has given priority to the country, need not be taught the principles of religion, language and caste by political parties which have broken the base of the nation. BJP has proclaimed the real democracy. The schemes in the country are meant for welfare of the poor, to strengthen them and make them self-reliant.
“Modi has brought home hundreds of students of Pakistan and Sri Lanka who were hiding inside bunkers holding Indian flags during the Russia and Ukraine war. Make BJP win and make Modi’s dream a reality,” he said.
Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik Ulipady who inaugurated the programme said that the conference has shown that women are strong. “Revolutionary changes such as ban on triple talaq, mudra project and the removal of Article 370 have taken the country in a new direction,” he said.
Bantwal Mahila Morcha president Bharati Chowta presided over the programme. District BJP president Sudarshan Moodbidri said that the government at the centre and state have brought about several projects for the women which should be informed by the women to people.
Bantwal mandala BJP president Devappa Poojary, Mahila Morcha district president Dhanalaxmi Bangera, district Mahila Morcha in-charge Kasturi Panja, Pooja Pai, Kionics president Harikrishna Bantwal, drinking and drainage board director Sulochana Bhat, Ramadas Bantwal, Koragappa Naika and Sudhir Shetty were on the dais. Eight special achievers were felicitated in the programme.
Seema Madhava welcomed. Saumyalatha compered the programme. Pushpalatha rendered a vote of thanks.
No party is ‘A’ team or ‘B’ team to BJP: Ravi
Later, speaking to reporters here, BJP national chief secretary C T Ravi said, “BJP has not kept any political party as an ‘A’ team or ‘B’ team. Our party has grown with the people.”
He said that inclination changes during the elections and the voting. “It is well known that there was an inclination towards Vibheeshana in the era of Ramayana. There are people in Congress and JD(S) also who want BJP to win,” he said.
Answering a question about defection, he said that it is normal in politics. “There is more success for giving than taking away here. Those who say that textbooks are not right should first read them before speaking. They should not speak on the basis of what others are saying,” he said.
