Moodbidri, May 27: The Rejoyce Mustard Garden Trust had organised academic achievement 2022 program at Anegudde School, Valpadi, on Friday, May 27.
The event commenced with a prayer by the school students, followed by a welcome dance. Uniforms and 60 percent of the notebooks were distributed by the Mustard Garden Trust and 40 percent of notebooks were handed over to the school by Navamaithri V S Cooperative Bank, Shirtady.
Awards were distributed to 14 students from different grades to increase self-confidence and motivation. Just like correcting a fault is essential, recognizing a student's success is also necessary. Even the slightest recognition works as an excellent motivation for the students and encourages them to work even more harder.
Addressing the gathering, managing trustee of Rejoyce Mustard Garden -Joyce Rego said, "We look forward to organizing such ceremonies every year. Apart from academic excellence, we also want to add other curricular activities since not every child is good at academics. When we do such ceremonies, we can give attention to all types of students."
Special guest Remona Evette Pereira is a 13-year-old Bharatanatyam dancer who has received 105 accolades for her art form at the National, State, and District level in 2017. She has been learning different dance styles from a very early age. Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar is India's Highest Civilian Honour bestowed upon extraordinary achievers below 18. Students and teachers of Anegudde School, Valpady congratulated our esteemed record holder Remona Evette Pereira for receiving the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2022 for her performing art skills.
