Veera Kesari Kala Vranda, Kannadiga Kalavidara Parishat, Celebrate Annual Day

: The 32nd annual day celebration of metro-based Veera Kesari Kala Vranda and the 4th annual day celebration of Kannadiga Kalavidara Parishat – Maharashtra, were held at Karnataka Sangh Vishveshvarayya auditorium, Matunga (West), on Sunday February 27.
 
Veera Kesari Kala Vranda president Ramesh Shetty Payyar presided over the programme on Sunday evening.
 

 

Bangalore-based Sirivara Prakashana proprietor Ravindranath Sirivara was the chief guest on the occasion.
 
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Bhaskar Shetty, Navi Mumbai corporator Suresh G Shetty, Bunts Sangh Andheri–Bandra regional committee joint secretary Jayaram L Shetty, litterateur and columnist Ravi Ra Anchan, stage artist Mohan Marnad, metro-based Arathi Printers proprietor P K Salian , stage director Arvind Shetty Kojakolli and others were the guests of honour.

S T Vijay Kumar was honoured for his extraordinary contributions to Kannada – Tulu theater, NCP leader Vishvanath Shetty Kalattur for contributions to politics ,and Chandrahas Guruswamy for contributions in the religious sphere.
 
Veera Kesari kala Vranda honorary chief secretary Vishvanath Shetty Petri, honorary treasurer Naveen Gulibettu, Ashok Pakkala and others wee present at the dais.
 
Kannadiga Kalavidara Parishat – Maharashtra president S T Vijay Kumar Tingalaya welcomed the gathering.  Honorary chief secretary Dayasagar Chowta compered the programme.  Vishvanath Shetty Petri proposed the vote of thanks. 
 
‘Pullina Madme’, Tulu play by playwright Arvind Shetty Kojakolli, directed by Ramesh Shivapura was staged as part of the cultural programme.
